Tony! Toni! Tone! feat. DJ Quik - Let’s Get Down

Pronounced Tony Tony Tony. Legendary trio from Oakland California, headed by the unstoppable Raphael Saadiq. This track grooves from their 1996 Album House Of Music. Funny intro! “4 Aces baby!” ;)

What ever happened to DJ Quik? If anyone knows please leave a comment, because he had some of the funkiest beats ever. Sure he was doing a G-funk bite and sampled heavily from the 70s, but damn those rnb tracks and hiphop tracks he did were awesome. And his voice (not so much his skills) was pretty different.
